Forever Hope is the fascinating and uplifting story of a patient, nurse, and pastor, Laura Shook and her battle with colorectal cancer. Laura’s courage, determination, and strong beliefs helped her overcome her doubts during her treatment. She systematically recorded and shares the details of her therapy giving us as readers new insight to what a patient experiences.
Her story has plenty of tips and advice about therapy, side effects, and complications. It is easy to read. The language is fluid and at times very emotional. I read it cover to cover in a six hour trip. I highly recommend reading “Forever Hope.” (312 pp. Maida Vale Publishing)
